Your First Visits

If you're not sure what to expect with your orthodontic treatment, we're here to help. Find out what you can expect from your first 3 visits with us.

The Goal Of Orthodontics

Our main goal is to make sure your teeth will have the greatest possible chance to last you a lifetime.
Many people can benefit from orthodontic treatment - it can completely transform your smile!

First Consultation (Free)

On arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly receptionist who will get you going with filling in our new patient registration and medical history form.

Our orthodontist wants to get to know you and introduce himself to you. We want to know what your concerns are, and what you would like to achieve. At the initial consultation, we will provide a comprehensive orthodontic examination, take photographs of your profile and teeth for future reference and tentatively discuss potential treatment options.

Records ($90)

If you wish to continue your journey to get the confidence to smile more, the next step is to take detailed orthodontic records. We will make a 3D scan of your teeth, and take 1 or 2 X-Ray pictures. This gives your orthodontist all the information he needs to make a treatment plan that will be best suited for you. This plan will be discussed with you at your treatment plan appointment approximately two weeks later.

The Treatment Plan ($270 - $470 depending on treatment required)

The orthodontist will recommend the best treatment plan tailored to your needs as well as discussing any treatment alternatives that may be available. We will also take you through the costs of treatment and discuss payment options. This appointment has more than enough time to let you ask any questions you may have. We realise however that you may have more questions during your treatment and we will always do our best to answer them along the way. You will also receive a folder containing a consent form, payment contract and a detailed letter confirming the treatment recommended for you.

Have Questions?

If you've already had x-rays taken, please bring these with you.

If you think your problem is related to an ACC case, please bring all your ACC documentation with you.

Your complimentary, initial consultation will take around 20 minutes.

Please note, if you fail to attend your appointment or you don't give us 24 hours notice of cancellation you may be charged a fee of $80.00.

When it is unclear if treatment is needed or not, we will ask you to come back at a later date. There we will either have records taken or observe growth and dental development to determine the correct stage to begin treatment.

If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask our friendly team. We want you to have a clear understanding of your specific needs and how we can best help. You can also call us if there's anything you don't understand.
